JEFFAMINE® M-1000 polyetheramine can be stored in air at room temperature for a considerable period of time. However, nitrogen protection during storage is generally recommended to reduce the risk of accidental exposure to high temperatures and to reduce airborne moisture and carbon dioxide absorption. It is important to note that discoloration will occur at temperatures above 140°F (60°C) regardless of the protective atmosphere. Pipes and equipment stained with JEFFAMINE® M-1000 polyetheramine can be cleaned with warm water or steam. In the event of an accidental spill, the area should be flushed with plenty of water. The proper way to dispose of waste is to incinerate it under relevant federal, state or local regulations.
