Recommended use
-
High molecular weight dispersant that is not affected by the pH of the coating system. Broadly compatible with most waterborne decorative coating systems.
It is completely water-soluble and does not require neutralization. After neutralization, it can improve its viscosity-reducing properties. The temperature during grinding should be lower than 60°C to ensure its high-efficiency properties. Recommended for resin-free pigment paste preparation. Also suitable for decorative and industrial paints to prevent pigment flocculation
It must be added to the millbase and mixed before the pigment is added.
Features
High gloss, high tinting strength, anti-flocculation, prevention of floating color, excellent stability to pigments, does not affect the water resistance of coatings
Precautions
When stored at 5°C and 5°C, it will produce a slight haze, but it will not affect the quality. Store in a cool, dry and antifreeze place with a shelf life of 3 years.
Addition amount
The calculation of the addition amount is based on the percentage of the active ingredient weight of the auxiliary to the weight of the pigment:
|
Titanium dioxide TiO2 |
2-3% |
|
Other inorganic pigments |
2-4 % |
|
organic pigment |
20-40 % |
|
carbon black |
20-60% |
add method
AF-5718 must be added to the millbase and mixed prior to pigment addition
Package
25kg and 180kg iron drums
