Features and Benefits: The additive moderately reduces the surface tension of coating systems. It also improves slip, flow and gloss. As a silicone additive to prevent Bernard vortex
Formation. BYK-300 also improves substrate wetting and anti-blocking properties.
Recommended use
BYK-300 has broad compatibility for all solvent-borne systems.
Recommended dosage
0.1-0.3 % Auxiliary dosage (as supplied) is based on the total formulation.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the optimum dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.
Joining method and processing guidance
The additive can be added at any stage of production, including post-addition.
For ease of addition, it can be pre-diluted.
special reminder
Unlike regular silicone oils, this additive is "user safe". However, before use, a series of tests should be carried out to confirm whether the additive is stable or not.
Foaming, in addition to evaluating its recoatability and crater tendency.
